More often than not, people are romanticizing the word ‘soulmate’. Maybe that’s because those chick-flicks and novels which said that a soulmate is the true love of your life. Thus, you’re romanticizing the process of finding that one person who will make you crazy in love because of that ‘soul connection’.

Ironically, finding your soulmate is actually not about that kind of lovey-dovey feeling that you’ve got. So, here are 10 signs you’ve actually met your soulmate:

1. He is brutally honest

Your soulmate will be your number one critic. He will be the person who makes you realize that you’ve made a bad decision or you did something that will potentially ruin your life. He isn’t afraid to be honest with you, simply because he truly cares and want you to get all the best in your life.

2. He is pushing you to the limit

He motivates you to dream and to achieve more goals in your life. He knows exactly your true potential and he will help you to reach your highest dreams. When you doubt yourself, he will be the one who restores your faith. He does not always be your crying shoulder; he doesn’t save you from drowning, but he teaches you how to swim.

3. He is not your crush

You don’t feel your heart beats faster or butterflies in your stomach when you meet him; you feel calm instead. Meeting your soulmate is not the same as meeting your crush, simply because you’re very comfortable when you’re with him.
